Caforio Srl is involved in the redevelopment of the R5 district of Tor Bella Monaca (Rome), commissioned by TBM SCARL (Ircop – SALC) as part of the urban regeneration plan promoted by Roma Capitale.
The project represents one of the most significant public residential initiatives in Italy, focused on energy efficiency and urban regeneration.
Developed in collaboration with Studio Valle 3.0, the project includes the supply and installation of approximately 18,000 m² of ventilated façades on the South and North courtyards of the complex, built with a Hilti substructure and Florim porcelain stoneware cladding, partners selected for their reliability and quality.
The ventilated façades will enhance the building’s energy performance, living comfort, and architectural aesthetics.
In parallel, Caforio is supplying and replacing approximately 5,000 window and door fixtures, using Metra systems, a long-standing partner of the company. Project management relies on two production plants and specialized installation teams, allowing the handling of large volumes, optimization of timelines, and assurance of high quality standards.
The project combines technology, quality materials, and efficient operational coordination, ensuring a comprehensive, coherent, and sustainable redevelopment with a significant impact on energy efficiency, residents’ comfort, and the architectural appearance of the neighborhood.
The Tor Bella Monaca project is now considered one of the largest and most significant construction sites in Italy for the energy upgrading of a residential complex, set to become a benchmark for future urban regeneration initiatives. Caforio’s participation in such a large-scale project confirms the company’s solidity, expertise, and vision—qualities that enable it to successfully manage complex projects while continuing to grow.
