Caforio Building was commissioned by the Montecchio Scarl consortium, made up of Carron SpA and ICM SpA, for the construction, supply and installation of the metal carpentry side veils of the viaduct at the new Montecchio Maggiore bus station, in the province of Vicenza.
The side veils in metal carpentry created by Caforio for the new Montecchio Maggiore bus station were built mainly using galvanized steel and aluminium, materials known for their resistance and durability in the external environment. This choice ensures that veils can effectively resist atmospheric conditions and corrosive agents.
Furthermore, to further improve safety, the sails have been equipped with an anti-launch net.
Given the particular conditions due to the location of the A4 highway, the works were carried out mainly at night to maximize safety, minimizing the risk of interference with highway traffic. During these hours, specific measures have been adopted to guarantee the safety of staff and the correct execution of the works, in accordance with current regulations.
